I started my very first online business in 1994. With no knowledge, no experience and definitely no training. Back then, building a website was a long and costly ordeal. You had to find a company or individual that knew how to write code and they would build you a custom website from scratch. This was a long and expensive process, often taking weeks or months to complete and thousands of dollars.
As technology progressed, the costs, time and effort needed to build a website has dramatically decreased. Today, you can literally build a website yourself in a couple of hours and it’s actually 100% free. We’ve come a long way from 1994.
While the technological breakthroughs of the last 15 years make starting and running an online business a reality for virtually anyone, it has also allowed people with less than virtuous intentions (okay, let call them what they are, SCAMMERS) to take advantage of people who are looking to better their lives. Don’t get me wrong, there are some really good programs out there, but there are a lot of scams too.
While it may be impossible to avoid every scam out there, (remember these scammers are always coming up with new ways to get in your pocket). The best way to avoid scams is through Knowledge. Knowing what programs are legitimate and which are scams, knowing what to look for when evaluating a program. Having the facts, (the On Line Biz Facts) is the best defense to getting scammed. As our tag line says, “Knowledge is Power”.
We have dedicated this website to giving you that knowledge. We are constantly reviewing and evaluating the 1000’s of online business opportunities to give you the information you need to make an informed decision. With that said, at any one time, we can only evaluate and review a small percentage of the “business opportunities” out there. If you have a specific program you would like us to review, please send us an email or leave a comment. We try to honor as many reader requests as possible.
Our goal is to help you build a successful online business while avoid being scammed. Our recommendations and evaluations are meant for the average person looking to start a new business venture. We take into account the costs, time and effort associated with the various business opportunities we recommend. While there is no “one size fits all” business program, we offer and recommend products and services that, in our opinion, offer the best opportunity for the average person to succeed.
