The Wealthy Affiliate Review: How Does Wealthy Affiliate Work
First, let’s be clear, there is NO program, website, or secret to a successful on-line,
or home based business. I can only assume that if you are reading this review you
fall into one of the following categories.
1) Someone looking for a way to earn a little extra money on the side.
2) A person who is tired of having a regular job and would like to earn a living
working for themselves.
3) A stay at home Mom or Dad looking to make some money in their spare time.
4) Retiree, looking for extra income to enjoy life.
5) A true entrepreneur looking for a venture that has the real potential for a huge
So, if I’m right, and you fall into one of those categories you owe it to yourself to
investigate Wealthy Affiliate. A little background on Wealthy Affiliate, (WA) was developed in 2005 by two young Canadians Kyle and Carson. Their original
idea was to provide a training platform for people interested in affiliate marketing. The original site was called Wealthy Affiliate University and it offered
various affiliate marketing courses from basic website design to advanced SEO techniques. Basically a “How To” manual for the beginning affiliate marketer.
While this is still the core of the business, over the years the platform has evolved into more of a community than a “University”, it is now almost universally
referred to as just “Wealthy Affiliate”. In fact, one of the best features of Wealthy Affiliates is its very active on-line community.
Unless you are an experienced affiliate marketer, you should always start off with the free starter membership. There is no credit card required and while it lacks all
the bells and whistles of the premium membership, it’s a great way to “test the waters” and see if affiliate marketing is right for you. I’ve made a quick video
showing just how quick and easy it is to get your free starter membership.
The Wealthy Affiliate Review: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly
The Wealthy Affiliate Review: Wealthy Affiliate, the Good
1- Free starter membership – not only allows you to test drive their system, but you can remain a free member indefinitely, and have an income producing website.
2- Free affiliate marketing course– Included in the free membership is the first course on affiliate marketing training. Courses are made up of individual lessons and
tasks so that it is basically a step by step guide to affiliate marketing.
3- Free website hosting– Included in the free membership are two free websites that you can customize to any product you want to market.
4- Ready made product to promote– Are you interested in affiliate marketing but have no idea what you want to promote? Wealthy Affiliate will provide you a
ready-made product that is a proven money maker.
5- On-line community– Wealthy Affiliate has a very active on-line community of like-minded people to answer questions, give advice and mentoring that is
invaluable when starting a new business.
6- Training – The training courses at Wealthy Affiliate are extensive. They amount to a step by step guide on how to build a successful affiliate marketing business.
It is by far the best affiliate marketing course for beginners.
The Wealthy Affiliate Review: Wealthy Affiliate, the Bad
1- Serious affiliate marketers will need the Premium Membership – While the free membership is great, and you can build up to 2 money making websites,
if you are looking to make serious money with affiliate marketing you will need the Premium Membership.
2- Up-sells – In addition to the Premium Membership, they do recommend a product called Jaaxy as the best Keyword tool in the industry. I use Jaaxy, and I agree
that it is by far the best keyword tool I have found. You can find out more about Jaaxy here.
3- Training – There is a LOT of it! But let’s face it, becoming an expert in any field requires a lot of training. The courses are broken up into individual lessons and
tasks and are set up so that you can go at your own pace.
The Wealthy Affiliate Review: Wealthy Affiliate, the Ugly
You really have to look hard to find a bad review of the Wealthy Affiliate program. About the only one I have found you can read here, take it for what it’s worth,
but I think he went into it with an agenda. And, by the end, even he admits it’s not a scam.
The Wealthy Affiliate Review: Bottom Line
Wealthy Affiliate Scored a 93 out of 100
Wealthy Affiliates is NOT a scam, it is a platform designed to teach the average person how to make money with affiliate marketing using a proven formula. I have
rated Wealthy Affiliate as a 93 out of 100. I base my ratings on how likely it is that the program can do what it promises. A score of 100 would go to a program
that I believed would work for 100% of the people who joined 100% of the time. Conversely, a score of 1 would mean that the program would only work for 1%
of the people who join it. Wealthy Affiliate rates a 93 for the following reasons;
1- I have never found a program that works for everyone 100% of the time, however, I believe that if you followed the Wealthy Affiliate program step by step, it
would work for over 90% of the people who tried it.
2- There is NO risk to trying it. I believe the owners have done a very smart thing by allowing a free membership program.
It accounts for a much higher success rate by letting people try it before they buy it. Let’s face it, the people who are not
going to be successful are never going to get past the free membership.
3- Proven track record. The success stories and testimonials of both past and current members is a testament to their
track record, and you rarely see a program with such a high approval rating.
I hope that my rating and review of the Wealthy Affiliate program has been helpful in your quest to find a profitable on-line business. I sincerely hope that you will
at least sign up for the free membership to check it out, you owe it to yourself to at least see.
If you have questions or comments please leave them below, also, I’m interested in any personal experiences you may have had with
Wealthy Affiliate or any other program that you have found.
