If you’ve never heard of Patric Chan, you are not alone! However, he is a well-known internet marketer who has written books and spoken to conferences on internet
marketing both foreign and domestically. Patric’s latest venture is his CD Passive Income 4.0. This system is promoted as being (almost) completely turnkey. You sign
up for the license and you get plugged into an automated system that will automatically generate passive income for you via a cloned website that he
claims has a 50% retention rate. In this review, we will give you a quick overview of his system as well as a discussion and rating of his overall program.
CB Passive Income Review
Program ; The CB Passive Income License Program 4.0
Owner; Pactric Chan
Business Started; 2013
Cost ; $49 mo. or $97 lifetime membership
Up-Sells ; Yes
Overall Rating ; 80 out of 100
The pitch for this business is very enticing, Patric is a person who has developed a system that uses a clone a website. He will maintain it, provide updates
and even supply the products and services for you will sell. Additionally, all the names and email addresses of your customers are collected so that you can
continue to market new products to them. This theoretically provides you immediate income with the initial sale and residual income through marketing
other products and services to your email list.
This program is marketed to both the beginner intermediate affiliate marketer. The pitch to the beginner is that everything is automated, you sign up and
everything is taken care of for you (we’ll talk more about that later). The pitch for the intermediate affiliate marketer is that this is an easy way to add an
additional stream of income with very little effort on your part.
CB Passive Income Review: More On The Program
Once you join, you will be given a cloned website that is all yours, in other words you will have a website that is exactly like hundreds if not thousands of others.
But if someone goes to your website and clicks on a link to buy something, you will automatically get a commission. You will still need to promote and market
your site and you can expect it to take some time before you will see any sales or income from it. However, as sales slowly trickle in, you will start developing a
list of people who are interested in buying your products, at that point you can use email marketing to generate ongoing sales through people you have already
built up trust with. The same thing applies to the intermediate affiliate marketer, it is pitched as an automated system where you can offer additional products
to the list you already have, as well as adding to it.
The Reality
There are no free lunches in nature (or business). In other words, you can’t believe everything you read or hear about a product. First of all, the price is very
reasonable at $49 per mo or $97 for a lifetime membership. But there are also a lot of add-on and upsell products and services that they promise will help you
generate sales and income. This is a common marketing technique that uses a relatively low initial cost to “get you in the door” and then they make the real money
by offering you upsells and additional products. Please note that there is nothing dishonest or inappropriate about using this marketing technique, but just be
aware that upsells are coming. Likewise, I can not comment on the value of the upsells being offered, but a good rule of thumb is that if you aren’t seeing the
results promised from your initial purchase, you’re unlikely to get the promised results from any upsells. Most of the time you’re better off just cutting your
losses and moving on.
A Completely Automated Turnkey System That Makes Money?
That’s what we in the marketing business call hype! Whenever someone is trying to sell you something we all expect a little hype from the salesperson. That’s why
there are sites like this one, where you can learn the actual pros and cons of a product. If this system really could generate passive income with little to no work
on your part then why would he ever share this secrete? If you invented such a great money making system would you share it with others and create more
competition for yourself? I don’t know about you, but I would stay pretty quiet and just let it make more and more money for me. That being said, his system
does take the time and effort of building your own website and procuring products out of the equation.
CB Passive Income: The Pros
Despite not quite being the automated turnkey system being touted, it is a relativity easy way for the beginner to start their first internet business.
The Price; Very reasonable for this type of product, it is in line with other similar products
Ease of set up; Getting started is as easy as signing up for a Clickbank membership (free) and then signing up for CD Passive income. Don’t worry
if you don’t have a Clickbank account yet they will show you how to get one here. Once that’s done you can sign up for your CD Passage Income membership here.
Training; The training they offer is step by step so that even beginners can master the system.
CB Passive Income: The Cons
Getting Traffic to your website is all up to you; As stated earlier, this is really not a completely automated system, in fact, one of the hardest parts of affiliate
marketing is getting your site ranked in Google, Bing, Yahoo etc. In fact, one of the things that these search engines look for is original content, by definition, a
cloned site has no original content so it’s almost impossible to get organic traffic which leaves you to buy ads or use pay per click. Both of which can be very
expensive especially if you don’t know what you’re doing.
You will be on your own in trying to generate traffic to your site; Just accept that fact that you won’t rank in Google, Bing or Yahoo with a cloned website.
But that doesn’t mean that you can’t promote your site through a Facebook group, Twitter, Pinterest account etc..
Very mixed reviews on the product; Doing an internet search on the product, you will come up with a mixed bag of positive and negative reviews. You have
to keep two things in mind, Just because a program didn’t work for someone doesn’t make it a scam. And just because a program works for someone else doesn’t
mean it will work for you. Remember that we are all different and we all have different strengths and weaknesses.
CB Passive Income Review: The Bottom Line
I am not rating CD Passive Income as a scam. I believe that despite its questionable claims of being an “automated system” that provides residual income. If you’re
relatively comfortable with internet marketing CB Passive income might be worth a shot. Although complete newbies should probably get some training before
spending money on this system. A very good free training program can be found HERE.
